Privacy notice

This notice explains how Battle ship handles information when you play the game or visit this site.

Last updated: October 15, 2026

Playing without an account

You can play against the computer or join a private match without creating an account. The game does not ask you for your name or email address to play.

Information stored in your browser

Battle ship saves your sound, turn-notification, and mobile turn-follow preferences in local storage so they remain available in that browser until you clear its site data. When you create or join a private match, the room identifier and session credentials are held in session storage to reconnect during your browser session. You can clear this browser-side information using your browser's site-data controls.

Private matches

Private matches send a room identifier, player identifiers, fleet placements, shots, turn state, and match results to the multiplayer service so rooms can work. The service stores a hashed form of player credentials rather than the original credentials. Rooms expire after 24 hours, and the service schedules their stored room data for deletion when that window ends. For room-code creation and joining, the service hashes the request IP address before keeping minute-based rate-limit counters; expired counters are pruned. Clearing your browser data does not immediately delete server-side room data.

Hosting and network requests

The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and private matches use a Cloudflare Worker and Durable Objects. Cloudflare processes network requests and related technical information to deliver and protect these services. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Advertising and Google services

Google AdSense is not currently serving ads on this site. If ads are enabled, an appropriate consent message will be used where required. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies, web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers to deliver and measure ads, limit repeated ads, detect invalid activity, and, depending on your settings and consent, personalize advertising. Third parties may place and read cookies or use similar technologies as a result of ad serving.

Learn how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can manage Google's personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings; this setting affects personalization, not whether ads appear. Google describes its advertising cookies in AdSense Help.

Children

Battle ship is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically to children under 13. The game does not ask players to provide personal information to play.

Questions or privacy requests

For questions or privacy requests, email battle.ship.online.free@gmail.com. Please do not include a room credential or other secret in an email.
